The food was very good! The breakfast burrito was delicious as well as the mocha latte. We stopped for breakfast and are already planning our trip back for wood fired pizza. Highly recommend stopping for a bite to eat.
This is definitely a must stop! Breakfast is amazing with nice options and they serve plenty. Pizza’s are fabulous. You would be surprised at how many people order their own.

Good thing the two BBQ places nearby were closed otherwise we would have missed this cute bakery. One of the best pizzas I’ve had - “All the way” with 11 toppings (cause I had them omit the green peppers). Looking forward to trying the selection of baked good we are taking away.
We love this place. Best local pizza in the tri-city area. Highly recommend it and bring our friends every time someone new comes to visit. They all agree that it’s some of the best they’ve ever had.
I visit Roan Mtn State Park at least twice a year and since Smoky Mountain Bakers opened, I come here every time for pizza. I love the fact that I can get a delicious gourmet wood-fired pizza in this little town outside the park. I’ve tried almost every variation but the 6 Cheese is my fave I think, just sublime. Their baked goods are amazing. Try the brownies or rice treats! Update 6/25/24 Their breakfasts are amazing! Fabulous veggie omelets, blueberry pancakes and biscuits & gravy!
if I could rate this place higher than 5 stars I would. My brother and I were camping at Roan Mt State Park and ate here 3 times, breakfast and pizza it was so good and the chocolate chip cookies were out of this world. The atmosphere was incredible from the drive in to seeing deer to being greeted by the resident cat. Ok, I have a confession to make, our visit was back in 2017 but I have never forgotten this place and am glad it has survived over the years from the pandemic and in general. I am sorry for the very late, not recent review but better late then never. I hope to go back again someday.
What a treat to find! VERY good brick oven pizza crust. Also have tons of toppings to choose from. We grabbed a coconut macaroon for the road and it was great. We didn't arrive in time to get any apurdoybread but we also bought some of their rye bread that was phenomenal tasting! Atmosphere is homey and simple beyond measure and bathrooms are outside but don't let that stop you from coming to this gem of a place!
